Still playing this after all these years! Temple Run 2 is just pure, unadulterated fun. The endless runner concept is simple but so incredibly addictive. Every time I pick it up, I tell myself 'just one more run,' and then suddenly an hour has passed. Trying to beat your high score or a friend's is a constant challenge. The different characters and power-ups keep things fresh too. It's the perfect game to kill a few minutes or get lost in for a while. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick, thrilling escape!
Definitely an upgrade from the first Temple Run! The graphics in Temple Run 2 are really nice for a mobile game. I especially love how they've added different environments instead of just the temple path. Running through mines, forests, and across waterfalls makes it feel a lot more dynamic and less repetitive. The demon monkeys look scarier too, which adds to the thrill! My only minor gripe is that after a lot of playtime, you do start to see the same sections cycling, but it's still a solid visual experience overall.
Okay, this game is fun when it works, but I've had way too many frustrating moments because of the controls. Swiping sometimes feels a little unresponsive, especially when things get really fast. There have been countless times I've swiped up to jump or left to turn, and my character just doesn't react in time, leading to an unfair death. It's a shame because the core gameplay is great, but these control hiccups really break the immersion and make me want to quit sometimes. Needs to be a bit snappier for those high-speed sections.
