Loot and Scoot is seriously addictive! I picked it up thinking I'd play for a few minutes, and suddenly an hour had flown by. This game is pretty fun! The core loop of dropping down and avoiding cops is engaging, and unlocking new characters gives you something to aim for. Some of the later levels or situations can get really tough, which is a good challenge, but sometimes it feels a little too random with the police placement. It can get a tiny bit repetitive if you play for too long in one sitting, but for a casual game, it hits the mark. Overall, a solid time killer with good progression.
I really want to like Loot and Scoot more than I do. The concept is cool – being a thief smashing through floors sounds awesome. But man, the controls can be a real pain. Sometimes my character just doesn't move exactly where I want them to, leading to unfair hits from cops or missing a vital power-up. It's especially frustrating when you're on a great run and suddenly get cornered because the movement felt clunky. If they could polish the controls a bit, this game would be a solid 4 or 5, but right now, it's just okay because of the frustration.
