Okay, so I downloaded Kitten Defense on a whim, and wow, it's way more strategic than I expected! The different kitten types actually matter, and upgrading them feels super satisfying. I started thinking it would just be a cute time-waster, but the waves get genuinely challenging, and you really have to plan your placements. Lost hours to this already. Highly recommend if you like tower defense but want something with a fresh, adorable twist. The action gets pretty intense when tons of enemies are on screen, but it never feels overwhelming, which is a huge plus.
The art style in Kitten Defense is just adorable! All the little kittens are so well-designed, and the enemy types are hilariously goofy – I cracked up at the 'Crazy Squirrel' enemies. It's definitely the charming aesthetic that drew me in. Gameplay-wise, it's solid, a pretty standard tower defense loop, but the 'cat kingdom' theme is executed perfectly.
